We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Website. By using this Website, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and Conditions.

3. Nature of Our Services

MyCruiseScout is an information and aggregation service that collects, curates, and presents cruise deals from various sources. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, or cruise line. We do not sell cruise bookings directly.

When you click through to book a cruise deal featured on our Website, you will be directed to third-party websites operated by cruise lines, travel agents, or booking platforms. Any contract for cruise services will be between you and that third party, not with MyCruiseScout.

We act solely as an intermediary to help you discover cruise deals and are not party to any booking or contract you may make with third parties.

4. Account Registration and User Obligations

To access certain features of our Website, you may need to register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information;
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorised access;
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account;
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account;
  • Not share your account credentials with any third party;
  • Not create an account using a false identity or impersonating another person;
  • Not create multiple accounts for the purpose of abusing our Services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms and Conditions or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

5. Premium Membership and Payment Terms

5.1 Free Trial and Subscription:

Our Premium Membership is offered as a recurring subscription, available on either a monthly or annual billing basis, depending on the option selected at sign-up.

New members receive a 28-day free trial with full access to all Premium features. Your payment details will be securely stored, but you will not be charged during the trial period.

You may cancel at any time during the 28-day trial without charge. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen payment method will be automatically charged based on the subscription plan you selected (monthly or annual), and your subscription will continue to renew automatically on that basis.

Monthly subscriptions will renew each month, and annual subscriptions will renew each year, unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

By activating your Premium Membership and accessing the services immediately, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel once the service has begun.

It is your responsibility to cancel before the end of the trial period if you do not wish to be charged.

5.2 Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

5.3 Automatic Renewal: Your Premium Membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged at the then-current subscription rate.

5.4 Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription fees. We will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any fee changes, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new fees take effect.

5.5 Cancellation: You may cancel your Premium Membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until that date.

5.6 Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to ensure that cruise deals and information displayed on our Website are accurate and up-to-date, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information presented.

Cruise prices, availability, dates, and terms are subject to change or withdrawal at any time without notice and are controlled by third-party providers. We do not guarantee that any deal displayed will still be available at the time of viewing or booking. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or discrepancies in the information provided on our Website.

You should always verify all details directly with the cruise provider or booking platform before making any purchase decision or financial commitment.

We do not guarantee that the deals presented are the cheapest or most competitive available in the market.

When you access third-party websites through links on our Website, you do so at your own risk. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any form of payment from third-party providers for featuring cruise deals. Our service is funded solely through user subscriptions, allowing us to remain independent in the deals we present.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyCruiseScout, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or other intangible losses;

12. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. By using our Website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, you have certain statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

For digital content or services purchased directly from us (such as Premium Membership), you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days unless, during sign-up, you expressly request immediate access to the service and acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost once the service begins. Where immediate access is requested and provided, you will lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel from the point the service starts.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Website, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyCruiseScout concerning your use of the Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

21. Waiver

No waiver by MyCruiseScout of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure to assert a right or provision under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
